Control techniques – YCS YSTRAL Control System
From simple button controls to complex automation systems – you decide the extent of our services. With all YSTRAL control systems, you have a high level of flexibility thanks to integrated standards and various options to choose from.
From the stand-alone solution to the connection to higher-level systems, to a jointly defined data interface, from semi-automatic operation to the recipe procedure, from the standard system to the ex-system with fail-safe controls, we offer custom solutions for automating your process system. We adapt the YCS to existing systems and ensure frictionless integration. A concept for secure, encrypted remote maintenance facilitates quick access for simple and quick troubleshooting.

YCS Basic/Basic+
The operation and monitoring of the system and the system condition take place via an on-site control interface on the system. Buttons start and stop individual basic operations. A 7”-panel serves to display error messages and for inputting existing parameters. Current values, e.g. rotational speed, flow or temperature, are also displayed.
YCS Advanced
The operation and monitoring of the system and the system condition take place via a touch panel. The size of the touch panel depends on the system size and the existing functionalities. The entire system is visualised on this touch panel. The colours of the motors, valves and other field devices change, depending on their status. All analogue values are represented, all error messages and events are displayed.
YCS Professional/Professional+
The system and the system status is operated and monitored via an office or industry PC and optionally via one or more (mobile) PCs. If multiple PCs are used, the PCs are connected to each other in a server-client structure. The entire system is visualised on the PCs used. The colours of the motors, valves and other field devices change, depending on their status. All analogue values are represented, all error messages and events are displayed.
With YCS Professional+, individual basic operations can be processed automatically with the YSTRAL recipe handler according to the defined sequence of a recipe. The selected recipe only has to be started once in order to do this. The process stops automatically after all the basic operations defined in the recipe have been performed. The YSTRAL recipe handler is the easy-to-use tool for realising these requirements. The recipes are created directly by the process expert. The YSTRAL recipe handler provides an easy-to-understand recipe editor, with which the recipes are created, corrected and adapted with a simple mouse click.
