ystral is a growing owner-managed company in the mechanical and plant engineering sector. We are passionate about planning, designing and manufacturing mixing and dispersing machines as well as customised process systems for our customers. Our technologies are used worldwide in various industries such as the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries as well as in the production of cosmetics, home care and cleaning products. Based on our long tradition and the expertise of our employees, we have developed into a leading company in the field of process engineering.

Our evolution

ystral’s owners are thr three brothers David, George and Peter Manke. They took over the company in 2005, having previously been managing directors for seven years.

Since 2005, turnover has risen from EUR 10 million to EUR 48 million (2023). Solid, organic growth, which is reflected in the increase in the number of employees from 80 to 270 (2024).

The management team was expanded in 2019 to include Karl Prem as commercial director. Dominik Seeger was appointed to the Executive Board as Senior Vice President Sales in 2024, followed by Dr Christian Gebauer as Senior Vice President Technology in 2025.

In addition to the headquarters in Ballrechten-Dottingen near the French and Swiss borders, subsidiaries have been established in Singapore (2011), Bangalore (India, 2013) and Beijing (China, 2018).

ystral has also established national representatives in many countries so can provide you with a personal contact to answer any queries or questions about process development, commissioning and on-site service.
