'110% Mixing Solutions' - this is ystral's claim, as formulated by its own employees in a survey. Dominik Seeger, Director Strategic Sales at ystral, sees this as proof of what customers regularly confirm: "Our employees are highly motivated and always put their heart and soul into their work. For them, going the extra mile for the customer is a matter of course." This commitment is encouraged and maintained by an exceptionally good working atmosphere: "The appreciation of the employees by the owners is very high and can be felt by everyone," confirms Dominik Seeger. The owners are the three brothers Peter, David and George Manke, who took over the company in 2005 after previously managing it. "Since then, the company has developed extremely positively," says Dominik Seeger. "Turnover has risen from EUR 10 million to EUR 42 million. This is solid, organic growth, which is reflected in the increase in the number of employees from 80 to over 270."

Strongly developing machine manufacturer
As a specialized machine and plant manufacturer, ystral primarily serves the chemical, food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries: "Our solutions are used wherever liquids are to be mixed with powders or other liquids," says Dominik Seeger, "but especially in the coatings sector." A whole range of tried-and-tested system and machine types are available for this purpose, which are technically tailored to the individual requirements of the customer in order to fit seamlessly and flexibly into the respective production chain. A well-staffed and highly experienced development department guarantees far better results than usual: "Individual process systems are one of our core competencies," confirms Dominik Seeger. In fact, every system is different, as different conditions apply to interior wall paint than to chocolate mass, for example. For the ystral team, this means variety and incentive at the same time: "We love such challenges, because many innovations only emerge during a project. Due to the necessary individualization of the systems, we are virtually obliged to innovate."

The dispersion professional
With the Conti-TDS core technology, ystral has developed a highly innovative solution that offers numerous advantages, such as great handling: "We bundle several production steps into a single system. The containers are emptied by a vacuum without dust or loss. Powders are mixed directly with the liquid and specially stirred so that there is no contamination or clumping," explains Dominik Seeger. "The resulting very high mixing quality is then reflected in a correspondingly high product quality." With such key technologies for process engineering, ystral has secured an important lead that now benefits its customers.

Internationally sought-after technology
In addition to the headquarters in Ballrechten-Dottingen near the French and Swiss borders, an application office in Singapore (2011), one in Bangalore (India, 2013) and an office in China indicate how much ystral quality is in demand internationally: "We have followed our customers in the chemical industry to Asia," reports Dominik Seeger, "because the potential there is immense, almost endless. So far, our export share of turnover is 60%, but due to the exceptionally good prospects in Asia, the export share will increase significantly." In addition to global corporations of distinction, ystral also serves numerous medium-sized companies, many of which also come from the economically strong region in the Baden border triangle. To ensure that this excellent development continues, the company recently relaunched its website. Dominik Seeger adds: "We have also already redesigned our trade fair presence."
