At the start we intensively consider your industry and your request. A process technician experienced in your application area will support you as contact partner and expert throughout the entire process of development and production – from the first meeting to acceptance of your new, tailored system.

We clarify the current situation with you, along with your wishes and expectations: What should be produced? Which processes do you already use? What is the spatial situation like? What are you hoping for from the future production process? What quantities are to be produced?

The more precise the task description and the more information in the basic data about your current process, the more exactly we are able to calculate the relevant performance data and key figures – including batch time and ROI. The ideal solution for your needs may include leaner processes and improved recipes in addition to the optimum machine technology: Thanks to their experience and specialist knowledge, our process engineers identify potential for your production process, which you possibly had not even thought about. At the end there is a well-founded and innovative solution, optimally suited to your needs.

We share our know-how

Tests in laboratory, technology and production scale

Together with our process engineers you can develop new, efficient production processes or optimise your existing processes. In our testing centre, almost the complete range of ystral machines is available to you, from laboratory to the production scale.

In our test centre you meet your products and raw materials anew and carry out tests with the corresponding production machines or in the laboratory and technology scale to subsequent scale-up.

Different measuring and analysis devices, as well as recording possibilities, form the basis for an extensive documentation of the tests. In order to give you the necessary process reliability, we create a process guarantee based on this.

In addition we offer you the possibility to rent test machines from our extensive machine pool. We are happy to support you during commissioning and testing locally.

Basis of the technical process

The requirements for the main components and machines needed for realisation are defined on the basis of the process engineering process. Of course your specific implementation requirements – e.g. specifications – are taken into account. We then develop a plant concept from this in the form of a flow chart or a pipeline and instrumentation diagram. Based on this, the scope of delivery and possible interfaces to existing equipment or equipment provided by other partners can be determined. An informative offer with the technical and commercial conditions completes the concept phase.

3D layout

Detailed plant concept

After you have decided the implementation with us, we develop the plant concept further for you and model it in the form of a 3D layout. This contains all the elements important for the process and controls, but also for the delivery and maintenance, in detail and with sizes. In this way we can check together how the plant can be inserted into your building structure.

After you approve the 3D layout we create all the documents and information needed for building the plant and for its integration into the building and into the infrastructure on site from a mechanical, electrical and control engineering perspective.

Combining

Production and assembly of the components

Using the documents created in Engineering, we produce the components needed for your plants and machinery on our modern production machines. Additionally, we specify the components that we buy from selected service partners according to our requirements. We subject all parts and components to extensive testing in order to be able to ensure the high quality of the machines and plants at all times.

Our staff are very well trained and educated, we employ specialists and use our own training.

In the assembly hall we combine the parts and components for you as much as possible, up to the complete and turnkey plant – if this can be achieved in the space available. The pipes, installation of cable ducts, pneumatics, as well as the temporary or permanent laying of electric cables to the accompanying switchgear complete the assembly and facilitate internal acceptance. To this end, the tests for electrics, safety and functions are also performed in addition to the completeness and leak checks. You thus receive a thoroughly tested product.

Acceptance of the individual process plant

We are happy to present your plant to you in our premises for acceptance. Depending on the scope of delivery, we test compliance with the technical documents and specifications, as well as the functions of the plant using a cold commissioning according to your requirements and our possibilities for a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).

After acceptance of the plant, we dismantle it, depending on the size and type of shipping, and prepare it for despatch according to the agreed conditions. This process is connected with valuable time savings for you.

At your premises

Implementation and connection of your plant

After delivering the plant, it typically has to be moved in at the place of installation and mechanically erected again. Depending on the scope of delivery, various implementation and connection work is also performed for pipes, pneumatics and electrics.

Depending on your possibilities and wishes, all this can be done by yourself or your contractual partners, upon request also under instruction from our experienced staff, including assembly masters, electrical or automation engineers. Alternatively, we erect and connect it after consultation.

Site Acceptance Test 

Checking the process guarantee

After completing the installation and assembly work, the commissioning is performed with test media and/or raw materials. In this phase, the plant is set for the planned production method, various parameters are adjusted and setpoints are specified sensibly.

The acceptance also takes place in this step in the form of a Site Acceptance Test (SAT), in which the guaranteed properties of the plant and proven and documented.

User-based training for control and maintenance staff is provided on a customer-specific basis.

Operational safety

Service and maintenance on site

ystral offers service from the very start. A prompt and complete realisation of the maintenance and servicing work in a basic requirement for guaranteeing the functioning and the operational safety of the machines and plants. Regular inspection and maintenance prevent unforeseen interruptions in the production process and extends the longevity.

Specialist service employees from ystral are always available to help you with advice and action. Qualified ystral service technicians carry out the maintenance locally for you or at our premises. Inspection, maintenance, cleaning and test runs are part of this maintenance. During this, the spare parts and worn parts are replaced exclusively with original ystral spares.
