COOKIES
These web pages use so-called cookies in many areas. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Cookies do not harm your computer, and do not contain any viruses.
The websites use cookies in several places. A cookie is a small data file that a website sends to your browser to store on your hard disk as an identifier to recognise your system. Cookies are often used only to evaluate the use (number of visitors and duration of a visit) and for effectiveness (topics that visitors are most interested in) of a website and to facilitate the navigation or use of such and are not linked to information that would identify you personally. Cookies can also be used to personalise the website experience of regular visitors and a user reference can then be generated by assigning profile information or user settings. This information will gradually provide valuable insights to help us improve the user experience on a website.
Cookies are generally either session cookies or persistent cookies. Session cookies enable the efficient navigation of the site, whereby the cookies log your progress through each web page so you will not be prompted to enter information you have previously entered on the site during the same visit. Session cookies are stored temporarily and are deleted when the web browser is closed. Persistent cookies store user preferences for the current and future visits to the site and are stored on your hard disk and will still be valid when you relaunch the browser. For example, we use persistent cookies to log your language selection and country.
As cookies are required for the basic functions of the website, a functional analysis of website usage to improve performance and enable you to use certain features of our website, you should not generally disable them in your browser settings. If your browser blocks third-party cookies, e.g. “marketing cookies” or “targeting cookies” to display ads and to monitor your progress on the Internet, this will not affect the functionality of our website.

If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be shortened within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states in the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this transfer. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it will be shortened. Google will use this information to evaluate your site usage, create reports regarding website activity, and complete additional services associated with your internet use for the website operator. The IP addresses transferred by your browser as part of Google Analytics are not associated with other data from Google. You can prohibit the storage of cookies by changing the settings in your browser software accordingly; we would, however, like to inform you that in this case you will not be able to use the full extent of all functions on our website. You can also prohibit the collection of the data created by cookies and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google and Google’s processing of this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
